Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge #13 Back to School

Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge #13 Back to School

For this card I used the Teddy Bear digital stamp I picked up FREE from The Paper Nest, along with some duct tape, scraps from my stash, chipboard letters and I printed the journaling using the Schoolhouse font that actually gave me the lined paper look. (sorry my photo is a bit blurry)

Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge 11 Tie A Ribbon

Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge 11 Tie A Ribbon

A basic layout of my daughter on one of her birthdays. (She just turned 30 on her birthday!) The addition of lace made it look/feel special and it made it so I could include it in Connie Can Crop's Monthly Challenge.

Conniecancrop Monthly Challenge #10
National Srapbook Day

For this Challenge I used the required sticker letters to make my title for a Christmas picture/letter page. (I do apologize for the quality of the picture. I took it before I left home for Denmark and then got here and realized how poor it was and I won't be home before the Challenge is over.)

Denmark

Denmark!!!!!!! I have finally arrived! Got here yesterday evening. :-) It was SO good to hug my daughter after 9 months! There are no words.
After getting a good night's rest I woke up feeling good and thinking I would be good to go today. WRONG! A few hours later I turned to mush and am counting the hours to bedtime. :-( It's okay. Daughter is finishing up some school work. tomorrow is a new day. :-) I am here. For now that is good enough.

Boston

My heart and prayers go out to those directly affected by the events in Boston. Such horrific acts of violence shake all of us to our very cores. Once again our country has to fight not to allow this to cripple us. We can be thankful we don't live in a country where this is an every day occurrence, but that doesn't make it any easier for those involved. This is their currently reality. Loss of life, loss of limbs, loss of innocence...lives changed forever. Again. My faith sustains me during times like this. What sustains you?
